A 7.3-mile off-trail route in the Leatherwood Wilderness linking Helen's Pouroff, Woodsman Pouroff, and Cathedral Falls — three tall, rarely-visited pouroffs in one of the quietest corners of the Buffalo River region.

The plan

  1. Morning

    Park at the Leatherwood trailhead and bushwhack to the first pouroff.

  2. Midday

    Traverse the bluff line linking Helen's, Woodsman, and Cathedral Falls.

  3. Afternoon

    Return route along the ridge back to the trailhead.
