The falls
Beagle Point Falls is one of dozens of 76 ft ribbon falls that ring the Buffalo River watershed. It runs hardest in late winter and early spring, when snowmelt and Ozark thunderstorms recharge the creeks. Getting there
There is no trail to this falls — a downloaded GPS track is helpful. Direct route: park at the Compton's Double Falls parking spot along CR 9560 (Cave Mountain Road) near the Hawksbill Crag trailhead and bushwhack in. Falls are at 35.87768, -93.44922 (Boxley Quad). ~4.4 miles round trip. If you're already visiting Compton's Double Falls, continue downstream ~0.75 mi to Whitaker Creek, turn right and follow the creek to Wild Burro Falls, then backtrack to Whitaker Creek and continue downstream ~200 yards before turning right up a small side creek to reach Beagle Point Falls.
