The falls
The name alone makes this one of the most memorable waterfalls on the entire Buffalo River. At 48 feet it is the tallest of the three waterfalls on the Cave Mountain Road loop and a stunning finale to a day that begins with the iconic views from Hawksbill Crag. The falls drops over a broad bluff face into a sheltered hollow just a short walk along the bluffline from Mule Trail Falls. Thousand Kisses Falls is the final waterfall stop on the Cave Mountain Road Waterfall Loop — Hawksbill Crag plus three waterfalls in a single day from one trailhead. See nearby: Haley Falls, Mule Trail Falls, and Hawksbill Crag.
Getting there
From Mule Trail Falls continue along the bluffline — either above or below — to the northwest for approximately 0.1 miles. Thousand Kisses Falls appears at 1.5 miles from the Hawksbill Crag Trailhead. Quad: Boxley.
