Alum Cove Natural Bridge Loop

The hike

A short loop in the Ozark National Forest drops past a massive natural bridge spanning 130 feet — wide enough that early settlers drove wagons across it, and one of the largest natural bridges in the southeastern United States. The trail continues down into a cool hollow filled with mossy boulders and lots of small caves on the way.
