The falls
Hudson Shelter Falls is one of dozens of 24 ft ribbon falls that ring the Buffalo River watershed. It runs hardest in late winter and early spring, when snowmelt and Ozark thunderstorms recharge the creeks. Getting there
Short, easy ~0.8-mile round-trip walk — a downloaded GPS track is helpful since there is no maintained trail. Falls are at 35.85148, -93.12411 (Lurton Quad — UTM 488808E, 3967274N).
