The falls
Intersection Falls is one of dozens of 31 ft ribbon falls that ring the Buffalo River watershed. It runs hardest in late winter and early spring, when snowmelt and Ozark thunderstorms recharge the creeks. Getting there
Along Falling Water Creek on the edge of the Richland Creek Wilderness. From Ben Hur, head south on FR 1205 — Intersection Falls is one of six waterfalls strung along a short stretch of the creek (Horsetail, Fuzzybutt, Intersection, Six Finger, Keefe, and Falling Water). Best paired with the other falls on the same outing. Runs hardest within a day or two of meaningful rain.
