The falls
Keefe Falls is one of dozens of 78 ft ribbon falls that ring the Buffalo River watershed. It runs hardest in late winter and early spring, when snowmelt and Ozark thunderstorms recharge the creeks. Detailed route notes for this falls are coming soon — check back for trailhead directions, GPX, and current conditions.
Getting there
About a 1.0-mile round-trip walk along Falling Water Creek from FR 1205 — a downloaded GPS track is helpful. One of six waterfalls strung along a short stretch of the creek (Horsetail, Fuzzybutt, Intersection, Six Finger, Keefe, and Falling Water).
