⭐ Boen Gulf Canyon Falls

Part of the Upper Buffalo Four Falls Canyon circuit — see the full route guide linking Magnolia, Woods Boys, Stahle, and Hadlock Cascade in a single ~3 mile day.

The falls

Named after five brothers — Danny, Billy, Spanky, Kenny, and Landon Woods — who grew up in this country and knew every hollow and bluffline in the Upper Buffalo Wilderness better than anyone. They logged the forest by hand and took careful care of it in the process. It is a fitting tribute for a waterfall in a canyon this beautiful. At 33 feet Woods Boys Falls sits just downstream from Magnolia Falls at the same creek junction — two waterfalls within a few yards of each other in the same hollow, reachable on the same approach without a single extra step. From the base, Stahle Falls is the natural next stop along the bluffline to the right. See the Upper Buffalo Four Falls Canyon page for the full one-day circuit.

Getting there

Follow directions to Magnolia Falls. Woods Boys Falls is just downstream from Magnolia Falls at the same creek junction — reach both at the same time on the same approach. Quad: Fallsville.
