The hike
The Cecil Cove Loop Trail is a 7.3-mile backcountry hike out of the Erbie area that threads through old pioneer homestead sites and ruins along Cecil Creek. Thunder Canyon Falls can be accessed off this trail by following Cecil Creek upstream — a moderate bushwhack, GPS recommended.
