The hike
The Ponds Loop is a short, gentle loop just off Erbie Campground Road in the Buffalo's upper district, next to the Cedar Glade Picnic Area. It circles the North and South Ponds — two small reflective ponds tucked into the hardwood forest — and is excellent for wildlife watching, family walks, and a quick leg-stretcher when combined with the Koen Interpretive Loop a short drive away.
