The falls
Dogwood Falls is one of dozens of 37 ft ribbon falls that ring the Buffalo River watershed. It runs hardest in late winter and early spring, when snowmelt and Ozark thunderstorms recharge the creeks. Getting there
Short medium bushwhack with no maintained trail — a downloaded GPS track is recommended. Falls are at 35.84978, -92.98455 (Moore Quad — UTM 501409E, 3967078N). ~1.2 miles round trip. The drainage is thick with dogwood trees, which bloom white in late March and early April.
