A modest 12-foot drop on Shop Creek located just above Triple Falls (Twin Falls at Camp Orr) — it shares the same parking spot and trailhead. Off-the-radar and rarely visited, with no maintained trail; it's a short creek-walk and bushwhack upstream from the Triple Falls area through classic Ozark hardwood forest. The payoff is total solitude in one of the quieter corners of the Upper Buffalo watershed. Best visited after rain when the creek is running well. Pair it with Triple Falls for an easy two-falls day.
Getting there
Same parking and trailhead as Triple Falls at Camp Orr. From Ponca, take AR-43 south, then AR-74 east toward Kyles Landing. Turn onto Camp Orr Rd (CR 2306) and park at the Triple Falls pull-off. Shop Creek Falls is just above Triple Falls — head upstream from the Triple Falls area. Coordinates: 36.04547°N, 93.25746°W.
