Buffalo National River, Middle District
Tucked beneath the dramatic blufflines of the Buffalo Pinnacle area, this waterfall drops into a remote hollow with sweeping views of the river valley below. The Buffalo Pinnacle itself — one of the most striking rock formations along the entire river — is visible from multiple points on the approach, making this one of the few waterfall hikes in the region where the scenery en route rivals the destination. Backcountry access, no maintained trail. GPS navigation essential.
